Changes to Confirmation Messages for Workforce Structures Redwood Pages

Enhance the user experience with updated confirmation messages in Redwood workforce structures pages, when approvals are enabled.

Previously, the Redwood pages displayed confirmation messages such as the following, both when approvals were enabled or disabled for the page:

  • Job created
  • Position updated
  • Location corrected
  • Grade deleted
  • Department record deleted

Now, when approvals are enabled, you'll see the message: Approval request submitted.

This enhancement eliminates confusion, because the data isn't created, updated, or deleted until the transaction is approved.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

  • The change applies to the Redwood pages for department, grade, grade rate, job, location, and position.
  • This feature also applies to grade ladders. Approvals for the Redwood Grade Ladders page are newly delivered in 25B, so it's not a change.
