How You Specify the Default Set
When you’re creating a job, location, department, or grade, the set is defaulted to Common Set. You can now override this default value by updating the Default Set field on the Enterprise HCM Information page. When you specify a default set, the pages mentioned above inherit that set from the enterprise configuration.
To update the default set on the Enterprise HCM Information page:
-
On the Home page, navigate to Workforce Structures > My Client Groups > Enterprise HCM Information page.
-
Click Update.
-
In the Additional info section, go to the Workforce Structures Configuration segment, and update the Default Set field with the set name that you want.
-
Click Submit.

Job Set defaults to the Default Set on the Enterprise HCM Information page
This feature provides you the ability to specify a default set to be used for pages in a consistent manner while creating workforce structures objects.
Steps to Enable
You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
Tips And Considerations
-
The defaulting of the set applies only to the create and duplicate flows of the Redwood UIs. It doesn't apply to the responsive pages, classic pages, HDL, HSDL, and REST.
-
Even if the set is defaulted from the value specified in the enterprise configuration, you can override this value in the create and duplicate flows.
