View Skills for Role Readiness and Mastery

On a role guide detail page, you can now view the skills that you need to be ready for a role and the skills you need to master the role. On this page, the Required skills section is now replaced with these two sections: 

• Skills required for role readiness 
• Skills required for mastering the role  

These skill sections appear for each capability guide present in the role guide.

You can access the role guide detail page in one of these ways:

• Click on a role guide from Your favorite role guides swim lane in Grow. 
• To view the role guide detail page for your role, click the Know Your Role button in Grow and then view the Skills Assigned by Your Leadership tab.
• In Opportunity Marketplace, open a career role detail page, click the Role Guides tab, if available, and then click a role guide card.

When a capability guide is created and skills are added to it, each skill can be categorized as required for mastery only, readiness only, or both. On the role guide detail page, skills are listed in one or both of these sections depending on how they were categorized in the capability guide.

Using this feature, you can now view the skills required for role readiness and for mastery on any career role at a quick glance, if a role guide has been defined for that role.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
