Redwood Experience for the Payroll User Tax Withholding Card

We have made it easier for your Payroll team members to access the Tax Withholding Card using the Redwood Experience format. These improvements include:

  • Tax withholding info organized in Association, Federal, and Regional tabs, optimized to display more info.
    • Field order is left to right, row by row.
    • Expand and Collapse are next to Edit. Field order is left to right, row by row.
  • All regional tax info is available in the Regional tab.   Users no longer have to click through pages.
  • Ctrl+f search support helps find a specific state or local component without having to scroll.

There are no changes in tax card functionality, simply in how the info is presented .

To access the card:

  1. In My Client Groups, click Payroll.
  2. Click Calculation Entries.
  3. Search for and select the person.
  4. Click Tax Withholding.

The new Redwood design for the Tax Withholding card makes it easier to view and manage employee tax data.

Steps to Enable

To enable this feature:

  1. From Setup and Maintenance, click Tasks.
  2. Search for and select Manage Administrator Profile Values.
  3. Search for the ORA_HRX_US_ADMIN_TAXWITHHOLDING_VBCS_ENABLED profile option code, and select Yes at the site level.
  4. Search for the ORA_PAY_CALCULATION_ENTRIES_LANDING_REDWOOD_ENABLED profile option code, and select Yes at the site level.
  5. Search for the ORA_HCM_VBCS_PWA_ENABLED profile option code, and select Yes at the site level.

Tips And Considerations

Use the Redwood Application Extension to recreate any Tax Withholding card settings you created using HCM Design Studio.
