Redwood: Send Notifications About Talent Review Meetings with Calendar Invitations
Facilitators can now configure these calendar invitation fields when they create a Talent Review meeting:
- Meeting start date and time
- Meeting end date and time
- Location
- Additional information to include in the calendar invitation
These fields will be displayed when the facilitator selects the Create meeting invitation checkbox.
Calendar Invitation Fields in Meeting info Tab
When the facilitator submits the meeting, the meeting business leader, facilitators, participants, and reviewers are notified. An ICS calendar invitation file is included as an attachment in the notification. They can download this calendar invitation and add it to their calendars to keep track of the meeting.
Notification to Business Leader
Notification to Facilitator
Notification to Reviewer
Notification to Participant
The calendar invitation is updated when the facilitator updates the date or location fields of the calendar invitation. When the facilitator submits the meeting after updating these fields, the updated invitation is attached to the notification.
Meeting Updated Notification
When the facilitator cancels a meeting, an updated calendar invitation is sent as an attachment to the meeting cancelled notification. When this calendar invitation file is downloaded, the meeting will be removed from the person’s calendar.
Create meeting calendar invitations and enable stakeholders to keep track of Talent Review meetings.

Tips And Considerations
- The meeting invitation is created based on the preferred time zone of the facilitator who is creating or editing the meeting.
- When you duplicate a Talent Review meeting, the calendar invitation field details are also copied to the new meeting. But you can edit these values.
- When you reopen a Talent Review meeting, the calendar invitation field details are enabled.
- Use these attributes to upload the meeting invitation fields when using HCM Data Loader:
- EnableCalendarInvite: Indicates if the calendar invitation is enabled.
- MeetingEndDate: Meeting end date and time including time zone
- MeetingLocation: Optional value that indicates the location.
- MeetingDate: Meeting start date and time including time zone
