Redwood: Create Calendar Meeting Invites For Performance Review Meetings
You can make it easy for managers and employees to track their performance review meeting outside the system by creating calendar meeting invites.
- As an HR user can now configure the Process Flow in Redwood performance templates to support generating calendar invites for the performance document review meeting task.
- When creating or updating a Performance Process Flow, you can select Include review meeting task. This enables the meeting invite to be generated in Redwood performance documents where the manager review meeting task is yet to be completed.
- As a manager you can create a calendar invite for a Review Meeting task in a performance document.
- You can create a calendar invite which both you and the employee can access and add to your calendars. The calendar file is generated as an ics file and can be added to calendar clients that support this format. When you schedule the meeting a. ics file is downloaded.
- If the employee hasn’t acknowledged the completion of the review meeting task or if the employee review meeting task isn’t configured, or if the next task in the process flow hasn’t started managers can update the meeting date and time, location, and any additional details.
- When the meeting is scheduled, employees receive a notification with details and the link to the meeting invite.
Manager Schedules Meeting
As a HR or proxy manager, if you’re substituting for the performance document manager using Evaluate As Manager then you can create or update a review meeting. You can also indicate the review meeting was held on the Performance Documents page by using the Evaluate as Current Task as Manager if the current task is Indicate Review Meeting Held.
If notifications are enabled, both the manager and employee are notified so that they have access to the calendar meeting even when not in the application.
Review Meeting Notification
- As an employee you can confirm the review meeting task when it’s available and download the meeting invite. When you mark the task as complete, a notification is sent to the manager if configured.
Confirm Review Meeting
This feature allows tracking of the check-in date when users aren’t in the application but it’s available in their calendar.
