Calculate Rate Values as on Proposed Start Date for Offer Candidates and Pending Workers

You can now configure the rate values to be calculated as of the proposed start date instead of the creation date, for recruiting candidates and pending workers. Whenever the dates change, the rate values will now consider the configuration as of the new proposed start date.

Steps to Enable

You need to set the site-level value for the ORA_CMP_USE_PROJECTED_START_DATE profile option to Yes using the Setup and Maintenance > Tasks panel Search > Manage Administrator Profile Values task.

Tips And Considerations

  • You can see the effect on both Redwood and responsive pages.
  • It will effect the value by criteria and grade rate based rate definitions.
  • After the profile option is enabled, the calculations will start considering the proposed start date. Existing salaries are revised only when you edit the offer or pending worker, or when the app tries to create salary again.
