DFF & DDF as Flexfield Parameters Supported for Assignment EFF in Redwood Employment Processes
You can now use assignment legislative (DDF) and customer-defined (DFF) flexfields as parameters in Redwood employment processes.
DDFs and DFFs are supported in the following scenarios:
-
As parameters for assignment extensible flexfields
-
As input parameters when defining a value set for an extensible flexfield segment
This enhancement adds flexibility to defining assignment EFFs, by allowing you to include key assignment-related data from both legislative and customer-defined sources.
Supports more dynamic and context-sensitive flexfield configurations by using legislative and customer-specific data, improving accuracy and personalization in employment processes.
Steps to Enable
You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
Tips And Considerations
Consider a scenario where the EFF context depends on the value of the DDF/DFF. If the user changes the DDF/DFF value, the EFF context doesn't refresh automatically. However, when the user clicks the context LOV, it displays values based on the updated DDF/DFF value.
Key Resources
In the 25 A What's New, it was stated that assignment legislative flexfields (DDF) and customer flexfields (DFF) couldn’t be used as parameters for extensible flexfields (EFF). This is now supported.
