Enhanced Address Validation for the US

We have enhanced address validation for HCM workers and locations with these features.

  • Address search with type-ahead and address autocomplete capability is now available across Redwood and Responsive HCM address maintenance pages and flows
  • Address verification up to address line 1 is enabled on:
    • Redwood and Responsive manual address entry forms
    • Worker and Location objects in HCM Data Loader and Worker REST services
  • Address Validation Process flow to verify and update your HCM worker and location addresses in the application
  • All verified address records are now associated with geospatial (latitude, longitude) coordinates
  • Expanded master geography data set that defines the addresses displayed in lists of values (LOVs), now provided by Oracle

Steps to Enable

Tips And Considerations

  • A FedRAMP-compliant version of Address Search functionality isn’t available. If you’re an Oracle Government Cloud Services customer, you must use the Address verification without search option to enjoy the features other than address search.
  • Payroll customers enabling the address validation feature must switch to US Oracle Payroll Tax Engine. The feature requires import of expanded geography data-set delivered by Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM (ORA_HCM) and may not be compliant with Vertex payroll tax engine.
