Global Payroll Interface Template: Fast Formulas Support For Custom Flexfields

You can now associate fast formulas to custom flexfields that can be included in the Global Payroll Interface template. Using this enhancement, you can extract data based on custom logic without having to manually manage data capture in these custom flexfields

Follow these steps to associate fast formulas to custom flexfields:

1.     Ensure the flexfield on which you have created the custom context has been deployed.
2.     Create a fast formula for each segment (attribute) in your custom context, that you want to include in the interface, to return the data based on your custom logic.
3.     Compile the formula successfully.
4.     Associate the fast formulas to their respective segments using the user-defined table. 
   1. Navigate to MyClientGroups->User-Defined Tables
   2. Search for Profile Options for Payroll Interfaces.
   3. Click on Add to add a row using a combination of context name and attribute name with "-" (hyphen) as the delimiter {context_name-attribute_name}. You can get context name and the attribute name from your interface extract definition.
   4. Click Save.
   5. Click Next.
   6. Add the Fast Formula created in Step 2 above, to the row created in User-Defined Tables.
5.     Include the above context into Global Payroll Interface template by running the Manage Global Payroll Interface Features Usage process with Enable Fast Formula Support parameter value set to Yes.

You can extract data based on custom logic without having to manually manage data capture in custom flexfields.
