This release allows customers to tailor the general application process for their candidates. Career Centers have the option to include the 'General Application' which job seekers can choose if none of the posted jobs match their search criteria. Essentially job seekers are submitting an application without applying for a specific requisition.

Customers have requested more options for the general application process. This release allows TBE administrators to both set up a different automatic email reply for these applications, as well as follow a different workflow.

By customizing the general application process, you can provide a more specific message to these candidates, as well as move them through a different workflow than your other candidates.

Steps to Enable

  1. Decide which workflow you want to use for general applications, as well as which email template you want for an automatic reply. Create a new workflow or email template as needed.
  2. Select Administration, then select Customize Recruit.
  3. In the Manage Career Center settings section, click Edit Settings for the desired Career Center.
  4. Scroll down to the new General Application Settings section.

  1. Select the desired workflow and auto reply template. Both of these new settings default to what is currently set up for this Career Center.
  2. Click Save to save your Career Center settings.
