Reporting on Compensation Assignment Segments in Workforce Compensation Real Time Subject Area

Compensation assignment segments related to workers help you analyze the segments and the values they hold. For example, you have some workers who got a promotion in the current year. They might need to have their bonus component computed at 20% in Grade A prior to promotion and at 25% in Grade B after the promotion. Such prorated values for compensation components are best recorded in the assignment segments.

Assignment segments use external data load to expose columns for a worker on a given workforce compensation plan. Assignment segment data can come from HR or any external app, including legacy apps.

This feature is supported for both the Compensation Manager and Worksheet Manager roles.

As part of this enhancement, these dimensions are added to Compensation - Workforce Compensation Real Time subject area.
