Automated Learning Assignment Reconciliation

Updating courses, offerings, specializations, or self-paced learning now also automatically starts a reconciliation process. This behavior ensures that all linked learning assignments remain up to date, avoiding discrepancies caused by outdated information.

The enhancement removes the need for manual intervention by learning administrators, streamlining operations and reducing the risk of inconsistencies.

Steps to Enable

Set the site-level value to Y for the ORA_WLF_AUTOMATE_RECONCILE_ENABLED profile option by going to Setup and Maintenance > Tasks panel > Search > Manage Administrator Profile Values.

Tips And Considerations

When automation is enabled, learning administrators won't see the Reconcile Learning Assignments action. And in self-paced learning, options normally available to learning administrators won't be shown.  The reason code defaults to New Version and comments default to Automatic reconciliation enabled. If a change includes replacement of content, then learners will be required to start from the beginning. They won't get any notification about this change.
