Redwood Experience for Statutory Deductions - Payroll Core

The Deduction card in Payroll Core is now available in the Redwood toolkit giving the page the modern look and enhanced backend functionality. This Redwood page is available to employees on an international Payroll Core legislation. You can now use the Redwood Deduction card to assign a Tax Reporting Unit to one or more of an employee’s assignments.

With this Redwood page, you can efficiently manage tax details for employees governed by international Payroll Core legislation.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Access Requirements

The Redwood Deduction page is enabled by default, controlled by the Redwood Global Deductions Enabled profile option (ORA_PAY_DEDUCTION_INFO_REDWOOD_ENABLED). 

In case this page isn’t enabled, here's how you enable it:

  1. Navigate to the Setup and Maintenance area and search for the Manage Administrator Profile Values task.
  2. On the Manage Administrator Profile Values page, search for and select the ORA_PAY_DEDUCTION_INFO_REDWOOD_ENABLED profile option.
  3. Set the profile to Yes.
  4. Click Save and Close.

Note: The ORA_HCM_VBCS_PWA_ENABLED central profile option must also be enabled.
