New Subject Area - Position Trend Real Time
The new subject area Workforce Management - Position Trend Real Time allows users to report on position historical changes. Example: Position Manager change/Working hours changes and all other changes at position level.
This subject area will be similar to the existing Position Real Time subject area with all the common dimensions and hierarchies. It also has the time dimension which will be anchored to the Position effective start date.
Note that HCM Position Hierarchy will always show current information, it will not show historical information. The Position Tree Hierarchy is not supported in this subject area.
This subject area helps answer the following sample business questions
- List of all positions active in a period, i.e. between a start and end date even if they are not all active all the time between those dates
- List of all positions active in a period along with their incumbents.
- List of positions where worker X has been the incumbent of between two dates
- Trend of the position headcount and FTE and the position incumbent headcount and FTE (and open headcount and FTE) in a period
Allows you to report on historical changes to the positions.
Steps to Enable and Configure
Leverage new subject area(s) by adding to existing reports or using in new reports. For details about creating and editing reports, see the Creating and Administering Analytics and Reports book (available from the Oracle Help Center > your apps service area of interest > Books > Administration).

This subject area is secured by the existing duty role Workforce Transaction Analysis (FBI_WORKFORCE_TRANSACTION_ANALYSIS_DUTY)
