Redwood Enabled by Default for My Compensation, Compensation Info Pages in Update 26C
Enhance the user experience by letting users directly access the Redwood-enabled My Compensation and Compensation Info pages where the Redwood profile option is turned on by default in 26C.
What this means
- Users who select My Compensation or Compensation Info actions will be directed to the Redwood pages automatically.
- The classic / responsive pages will no longer be the default entry point for these two actions once you upgrade to 26C (unless explicitly reconfigured).
Why this is happening
- In 26C, Oracle updates the delivered Redwood enablement profiles for these pages to Yes as part of the standard Redwood adoption path.
- Because these profiles are enabled out of the box, the system will render the Redwood experience by default.
You continue your journey into Oracle Redwood solutions.
Steps to enable and configure
You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
Tips and considerations
If you want to disable the redwood experience for the 2 pages, you need to set the site-level value to No for the ORA_CMP_SPOTLIGHT_REDWOOD_ENABLED profile option. Go Setup and Maintenance > Tasks panel Search > Manage Administrator Profile Values.
