View Costing Results for Transfer to Subledger Accounting and Reverse Transfer to Subledger Accounting Using Redwood

You can now directly view the results of both the Transfer to Subledger Accounting and Reverse Transfer to Subledger Accounting processes using the Redwood results page.

When you run the Transfer to Subledger Accounting process, all of these underlying payroll costing processes are included:

• Adjust Cost for a Person
• Calculate Payroll
• Costing of Balance Adjustments
• Costing of Payments
• Qucikpay
• Reverse Payroll Calculation

Each of these processes appears as a separate row in the process summary. The cost results transferred to subledger accounting are clearly displayed within their respective process rows on the Redwood results page.

Similarly, any cost results reversed through the Reverse Transfer to Subledger Accounting process can also be viewed using its Redwood results page.
 

This enhancement improves transparency and auditability of payroll cost transfers by enabling users to review costing results transferred to and reversed in subledger accounting. It helps streamline reconciliation activities and supports more accurate and reliable financial reporting.

Steps to enable and configure

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips and considerations

The ORA_PAY_PROCESS_RESULT_PAGES_FOR_PERSON_REDWOOD_ENABLED profile option is enabled by default. If you disable it, the results pages for these two processes will be hidden as there are no existing results pages for these two processes.

The ORA_HCM_VBCS_PWA_ENABLED (Enable VBCS Progressive Web Application User Interfaces across HCM application) central profile option should also be enabled by default.

Note: Encumbrance results transferred through the Transfer to Subledger Accounting process will be delivered in the future release.
