Redwood: Configure Default Performance Goal Sorting by Goal Category
HR specialists can use Visual Builder Studio page properties to set the default sort order of performance goals by goal category, alphabetically from A to Z, and then sort by goal name within each category.
The sorting is available on the Performance Document page and in the performance goals drawer on the All-in-One Evaluations page.
Business benefit: Help organizations present performance goals in a consistent order across performance document experiences. This improves the evaluation experience for all users who view performance goals.
Steps to enable and configure
- Open the Performance Document page or All-in-One Evaluations page and access Visual Builder Studio Express Mode.
- Under Evaluation Topics, configure the relevant Sort Performance Goals Alphabetically by Goal Category page property for the page.
- Set the property to True to sort performance goals by goal category, then by goal name.
- Use the supported contextual parameters to apply the property to the appropriate performance documents.
Tips and considerations
- The page properties default to False.
- Performance goals without a goal category are sorted at the end of the list.
- The category of a goal is available when seeing the goal details.
