Redwood Experience for Payroll Integrations Page

Redwood Platform

Use the Redwood Payroll Integrations page to configure and manage real-time, embedded, and event-based payroll integrations. You can configure a single integration type, any combination of integration types, or all three to meet your payroll integration requirements.

A guided flow helps you enter integration details, enable the relevant integration types and create detailed mappings for each payroll included in the integration. The mapping details include event categories, the extract that identifies the relevant dataset, payload rule to validate the data and the value transformation, where required.

For example, if event based integration is enabled, for each relevant payroll you can capture the event category along with the extract that identifies the dataset for that event. If data validation is required, you can additionally map the payload rule that defines the validations.

If real time and/or embedded integration is enabled, you can capture the necessary configurations like end point URL.

To support your processing requirements, you can:

  • Search integrations by name, filter by provider, sort the integration list, and manage integration status.
  • Create and manage required payroll mappings for each integration configuration.
  • Search and filter mappings by payroll, event type, extract, or payload rule.
  • Configure mappings for real-time, embedded, event-based, or a combination of integration types.
  • Enable value transformation when values must be transformed before the final output is generated.
  • Enable output validation when batch data must be validated before processing.
  • Configure deep-link and REST options for individual mappings, as applicable.
  • Add, edit, or delete mapping rows directly from the configuration.

The guided flow validates required information as you progress and displays inline messages for incomplete or invalid entries. After you successfully submit the configuration, the integration is available on the Payroll Integrations page for ongoing management.

The Redwood experience provides a centralized and flexible way to configure multiple payroll integration types and their mappings. Guided configuration and validation help reduce setup errors, while mapping-level processing controls enable you to tailor payroll integrations to your business and provider requirements.
