Payroll Interface for ADP Global Payroll V2 Enhanced With Additional Salary Attributes
Run Payroll Interface for ADP Global Payroll V2 now supports both assignment FTE salary and annualized full-time salary in the SalaryDetails record. This enhancement helps payroll partners use the salary amount that matches their mapping and periodic-salary calculation requirements.
The interface provides these additional salary details:
- Annual FTE Salary Value
- Annual Full-Time Salary
- Annualization Factor
- Source Amount indicator, which identifies the salary amount used for periodic-salary calculation
You can select the amount used to calculate periodic salary in Configure Payroll Interface Properties. The new Amount to be converted to Periodic Salary property provides these options:
- Salary Amount
- Annual FTE Amount
- Annualized Full Time Amount
When you select an FTE or annualized full-time amount, the periodic-salary rule formula receives the selected amount and the annualization factor. Selecting Salary Amount preserves the existing calculation behavior.
Payroll partners can distinguish between assignment FTE salary and full-time salary, allowing them to apply the correct amount when mapping salary data and calculating periodic salary.
Steps to enable and configure
Perform the following steps to specify the Source Amount Indicator:
- Navigate to: My Client Groups > Data Exchange > Data Exchange Configurations > Configure Payroll Interface Properties
- Select ADP Global Payroll Interface.
- In the Payroll Interface Properties page, locate the Amount for Periodic Salary Calculation section.
- Select a value for Amount to be Converted to Periodic Salary.
Update the periodic-salary rule formula if it needs to process the selected salary amount and annualization factor.
Tips and considerations
