Redwood Experience for Organization Calculation Cards

Manage organization calculation cards in the Redwood experience. You can create two types of organization calculation cards at the following levels, where supported by the legislation:

  • Use the Legal Entity Calculation Card to manage a Payroll Statutory Unit (PSU) card. This card defines values that apply to all Tax Reporting Units (TRUs) within the PSU. 
  • Use the Legal Reporting Unit Calculation Card to manage a Tax Reporting Unit (TRU) card. Values defined on the TRU card override corresponding values defined on the PSU card. This card defines values that apply only to a specific TRU.

Here's how you access the Redwood organization calculation cards:

  1. Go to Setup and Maintenance > Tasks panel > Manage Implementation Projects.
  2. Search for and select your implementation project.
  3. Select one of the following tasks, depending on the organization level you want to manage:
    • Legal Entity Calculation Cards
      1. In the Select Scope dialog box, select the Legal Entity (PSU) value.
      2. Select Apply and Go to Task.
    • Legal Reporting Unit Calculation Cards
      1. In the Select Scope dialog box, select the Legal Entity (PSU) and Legal Reporting Unit (TRU) values.
      2. Select Apply and Go to Task.

Provides a consistent Redwood experience for managing organization calculation cards.

Steps to enable and configure

You don't need to take any action when both of the following conditions are met:

  • The Redwood Search Legal and Statutory Reporting Calc Cards Enabled profile option (ORA_PAY_SEARCH_LRU_CALCULATION_CARDS_REDWOOD_ENABLED) is set to its default value of Yes.
  • The ORA_HCM_VBCS_PWA_ENABLED profile option is enabled.

If the page isn't enabled:

  1. Go to Setup and Maintenance > Tasks panel > Search > Manage Administrator Profile Values.
  2. Search for and select ORA_PAY_SEARCH_LRU_CALCULATION_CARDS_REDWOOD_ENABLED.
  3. Set the profile value to Yes.
  4. Save your changes.
  5. Ensure that ORA_HCM_VBCS_PWA_ENABLED is also enabled.
