Base Balances for Statutory Deduction Report
You can now report statutory deduction base amounts in the Statutory Deduction Register.
The report can display the Period-to-Date (PTD) and Year-to-Date (YTD) Base Amount alongside the corresponding statutory deduction, providing visibility into the amount on which the deduction was calculated.
Base amount reporting is supported for statutory deductions including PAYE, USC, PRSI and LPT together with Court Orders and My Future Fund contributions.
The enhanced report configuration provides greater transparency into statutory deduction calculations by showing both the deduction and its underlying base amount.
This makes payroll results easier to validate, reconcile, and troubleshoot, and provides a clearer audit trail for statutory deduction reporting.
Steps to enable and configure

Tips and considerations
- Run payroll and prepayments before running the Statutory Deduction Register so that the required balance results are available.
- When validating the report, compare the reported deduction with its corresponding PTD and YTD base amounts.
- Base amounts are displayed only where the relevant payroll results and reporting configuration exist.
