New Links from Change Legal Employer Dashboard

When the global transfer process identifies an issue with an involuntary deduction, the Change Legal Employer Dashboard message now includes a direct link to the associated involuntary deduction component on the Earnings and Deductions page. Use the link to open the involuntary deduction card component to correct one of these issues:

• The new payroll relationship has a different frequency. The link opens a new involuntary deduction card component, where you can update the calculation values for the new payroll frequency.
• The Total Owed amount for the order has already been met. The link opens the original involuntary deduction card component so you can review the total owed.

The functionality is available for both of these global transfer processes:

• Local and Global Transfer (transfer for one employee)
• Mass Change Legal Employer (transfer for multiple employees)

This enhancement reduces the effort required to resolve global transfer issues by providing direct access to correct the relevant involuntary deduction card component.

Steps to enable and configure

This feature is not automatically enabled. To enable it:

1. Navigate to Setup and Maintenance and select the Tasks menu.
2. Click Search, and search for Manage Administrator Profile Values.
3. Search for Profile Option Code = ORA_PER_EMPL_CLE_DASHBOARD_REDWOOD_ENABLED, select Yes for the Profile Value at the site level, and click Save.
4. Search for Profile Option Code = ORA_HCM_VBCS_PWA_ENABLED, enter Y for the Profile Value at the site level, and click Save and Close.
