Multi-Student Parent Interface
Parent access has been enhanced to allow for a more streamline process to manage multiple student accounts and submit the necessary documents without the need to log out and back in under another login.
Parents can now:
- Login and manage multiple students within the same session
- By clicking on the student's name in the upper right hand corner, parents will now be able to toggle between all student accounts they can take action on
- When a parent logs out and then back in, the landing page will default to the last student account that was viewed by the parent.
- When a parent is added to a subsequent student account they will receive an email alerting them to the addition, however it will not require them to create new credentials.

Here's the demo of these capabilities:
Steps to Enable
Use the Opt In UI to enable this feature. For instructions, refer to the Optional Uptake of New Features section of this document.
Offering: Student Financial Aid
- You will need to make updates to your Identity Provider (IDP) in order to assign multiple students to one parent account
- The studentID attribute is of type String Array
- When modifying, the value is presented in comma separated format: <studentID1>,<studentID2>
Tips And Considerations
- New email designation for a second parent is prior to any Identity and Access Management integration via OCI Cloud Console. Once you opt into OCI IAM integration, please update email notifications within the OCI Cloud Console
- The landing page, post login, will default to the last student the parent was on when they logged out. So they’ll need to pay attention and toggle to the correct student after logging back in.
