Improved Student/Parent Self Service (Portal) loading performance

Student/Parent Portal now loads feature-specific content when it is needed, reducing the amount of JavaScript downloaded when students and parents first open the Portal. When a user first opens a Portal area, the supporting content for that area can load at that time.

Business Benefit: Faster initial Portal access can improve the self-service experience, particularly for users with lower-bandwidth connections.

Steps to enable and configure

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips and considerations

• No Portal configuration, user-access, or security-role changes are required.
• Portal navigation and supported user journeys remain the same.
• A Portal area may load its supporting content the first time that a user opens it.
