Updated Link Document Action Available for Additional Objects

This feature provides you with a new manager layout enabled Link Document action on the Item Origin and Declaration objects. You can use this action to link to an existing document in GTM.

In addition, two new Agent Events are available when the Agent Type is either ITEM ORIGIN or GTM SHIPMENT (also know as the Declaration):

ITEM ORIGIN - DOCUMENT LINKED
GTM SHIPMENT - DOCUMENT LINKED

Business Benefit

This simplifies the process for a user to associate a document with new business objects and allows them to directly link to the original instance of a document rather than download and reupload a copy, saving both time and effort and improving data integrity for the business.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

The manager layout enabled Link Document action is also available on other objects throughout OTM and GTM.
A manager layout enabled action allows you to configure the input page of the action based on your business needs.
