Constraint Set Engine Change to Support OR Condition within a Group
To enhance matching capabilities between transaction and declaration business objects, the Constraint Set Engine now supports an OR condition within a group. This improvement allows you to specify distinct matching criteria based on the business object pair the system is matching. For instance, when pairing an exit declaration with an entry transaction, the matching criterion becomes the remark. Conversely, when pairing an exit declaration with an entry declaration, the matching criterion shifts to the item.
If multiple groups are present, all of them will be checked but only a singular combination of matching criteria (e.g.: Line Remark) and a constraint (e.g.: transaction to declaration) from the group will be taken into consideration when executing the action on the specified objects.
Business Benefit
The addition of this new functionality expands GTM’s support for Customs workflows in countries and trade incentive programs. This enhancement is particularly beneficial in scenarios where an import declaration is not mandatory, and GTM can now effectively accommodate these business transactions as part of the trade incentive program entry-exit matching process.
