Bid by Equipment Group Support

Enhanced lane summary creation to optionally produce separate lane summary details for each equipment group from shipment set, and persistence through CRT process.

We don't have any changes in the Shipment Set criteria. For Lane Summary criteria, please check Bid by Equipment Group.

Lane Summary Criteria

Rest of the bidding process remains same as that of now, CRT generated will have Equipment group populated and carrier can bid against the Equipment group.

This feature simplifies the process of supporting any Transportation Sourcing bid where you have equipment group specific rating on your lanes.

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

Equipment Groups in shipment set must be a subset of Equipment groups mentioned in the Equipment group profile under Constraint Set. User will not be allowed to change the Equipment group mentioned in the CRT generated.

You can check both (Bid by Equipment Group and Bid by Equipment Reference Unit), and in that case Lane summary stat will be for each combination of Lane-Equipment Group-ERU ID.
