Here Map - API Upgrade

This feature allows to configure the map to use Here Raster Tile 3.1 (previous version was 2.1).

Invoking HERE Raster Tile API v3 requires a HERE platform account. Previously used HERE developer accounts do not work for HERE platform and the HERE platform account only supports Route service V8.

A new custom property has been added: here.useLatestApiKey in glog.webserver properties

  • False (is the default value) - renders HERE map with Raster tile API 2.1
    • Previous version
    • Supports both route services, V7 and V8.
  • True - Renders HERE map with Raster tile API V3.1
    • New version
    • Requires the Default EDE(External Distance Engine) to be updated to HERE route service V8 (from V7)

Features of this updated API can be uptaken via Logic Configuration or Map Parameters settings.  New sections have been added to both Logic Configuration and Map Parameters.
