Support for User-Configurable UOMs

UOM functionality within WFM has been enhanced to not only support units, packs, cases, LPNs, and pallets but also other user configurable UOMs.  With appropriate goal defined against these UOMs, Productivity Reports can now calculate productivity for any UOM that is interfaced into WFM as a part of WMS Activity.

UI CHANGES

To complement the UOM enhancement in WFM, the following changes have been made:

  • “Nbr Units” has been changed to “Qty” on WMS Activity Track and Daily Activity Track screens.
  • Field names “UOM(quantity)” and “UOM(H:M:S)” are renamed as “Qty” and “H:M:S” respectively in the following screens:
    • Productivity Report main view
    • Productivity Report > Productivity Report Per User view
    • Productivity Report > Productivity Report Per User > Productivity Report Per User Per SKU_Line_Group view
    • User Productivity Report > WMS_Time view
  • Field name “Duration” is renamed as “Duration (Seconds)” in the following screens:
    • Daily Activity Track
    • Daily Activity Track -> Daily Activity Track Details

CREATE LPN VERSUS MULTI UOM

WMS activity captures UOM codes while performing the RF Create LPN transaction. With 24A release, for system and non-system class UOMs, the system captures UOM code correctly on the WMS Activity when you perform Create LPN. The captured UOM code is recorded under UOM field in the WMS Activity screen.

NOTE: The system captures the transacted UOM under the WMS Activity UOM field.

The system now supports Create LPN in multi-UOM for system and non-system class UOMs. After performing the Create LPN in multi-UOM, the system writes individual WMS activity records for each inventory per UOM.

The system behaves in the following manner when you perform Create LPN in multi-UOM:

Case Behavior

When you perform create LPN for multi UOM on a single SKU.

The system writes the WMS activity records for each UOM individually.

When you perform create LPN for multi UOM on attribute tracking item SKU.

The system considers the records based on the attribute combination and writes the WMS activity records for each UOM.

The following examples briefs the behavior of scanned SKU versus multi-UOM:
