New Group Permissions for Print Label

Enhancement in Group Permission UI

Previously, the system had single group permissions that controlled entities across the WMS screens. On enabling this permission for the user group, the print label button was enabled across different entities:

Now, we’ve added new group permissions at the entity level to control printing operations. On enabling the permission corresponding to a specific UI, the system enables the Print button for that respective UI. This granular level of permission control also gives you a privilege to restrict a particular user group from performing any Print operations.

The following table lists the new permissions added for the corresponding UIs to control enabling of the Print button:

The “inventory / can deallocate” permission has now been extended to control “Deallocate LPN” action button in the in the IBLPN screen and Reserve Inventory screen.

NOTE: By default, the Print button is enabled for users with Admin roles. For user roles such as Guard, Employee, Management, and Supervisor, the permission must be explicitly enabled to perform print labels and deallocation of inventory".

Steps to Enable

To enable the Print Label button:

  1. From the Group Permission UI, select the corresponding UI permission to enable the print label button on the respective UI.
  2. Click Save.
