Mass Update and Inline Edit in Finder Results for Reference Numbers/Remarks Across GTM Objects

References numbers and remarks now support mass update and inline editing across GTM objects. You can use these capabilities on the finder results within managers. The following GTM objects support this enhancement:

  • Bond
  • Campaign
  • Campaign Line
  • Declaration
  • Declaration Line
  • Item
  • Item Qualification
  • License
  • License Line
  • Party
  • Registration
  • Trade Agreement
  • Trade Item Structure
  • Trade Item Structure Component
  • Trading Partner Item
  • Trade Transaction
  • Trade Transaction Line

To take advantage of this enhancement, you need to add reference numbers and/or remarks on your finder results. The easiest way is to copy the public screen set and create a new one. On the new screen set, you can add your reference numbers and remarks to the Results tab. For example, you can add a Reference Number = Supplier Item Number and a Remark = Item Details to an item screen set.

This enhancement simplifies and speeds up the data entry process across GTM objects, saving users time and effort.

Steps to Enable

To take advantage of mass update and inline editing for reference numbers and remarks, you need to:

  • Copy the public screen set of the object you want to enable and create a new one.
    • On the Results tab, you can add one to many rows to support multiple reference numbers and remarks. For each row, select a Column of either Refnum (P) or Remark Text (P).
    • Click More on the row you added and select 'Editable'.
    • Complete the screen set configuration and click Finished.

Once created, you can add your new screen set to the menu.

Tips And Considerations

Mass Update and Inline Edit support for reference numbers and remarks is currently not supported in the enhanced workbench.
