Better Support for Wholly Originating Components
This feature provides better support for components which are wholly originating. In addition to UI changes, the trade agreement qualification logic is changed so that goods which are wholly originating are handled differently than goods which are wholly obtained.
On the Item Origin, Item Qualification and Transaction Line Qualification UIs, the label has been changed from 'Wholly Obtained' to 'Wholly Originating'. This applies to the finder, view and edit pages.
Item Origin - Wholly Originating
A new justification code and justification description is introduced to indicate if a manufactured good has been qualified based on wholly originating components.
Justification Code - Qualified by Wholly Originating
NOTE: This feature works in conjunction with the new optional feature called Perform Wholly Originating Before PSR.
This feature enables more robust support for scenarios where a component is wholly originating. In addition to a logic enhancement, better visibility is provided between goods that are wholly originating versus wholly obtained.
Steps to Enable
You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
Tips And Considerations
The existing Justification Code (Description) = 'ROO_SUCCESS_10 (QUALIFIED_BY_WHOLLY_OBTAINED)' is used when Item Origin > Wholly Originating = 'Yes' and the manufactured good does not have a bill of material.
