This feature adds the Out JSON Profile to the External System. By assigning an Out JSON Profile ID to a specific XML Element, you can filter and select appropriate fields and child resources for REST-JSON-based outbound external interface transmissions. This allows you to control the list of elements you want to send in the REST outbound external interface transmission. The delivery of the Out JSON Profile and its inclusion as part of your External System definition represents another major accomplishment for allowing you to implement REST services for all your integration requirements.

The External System page is accessed via Business Process Automation > Communication Management > External Systems.

This feature provides you with the ability to assign to an external system an Out JSON Profile, which provides the ability to select and filter the desired fields and child resources for REST-JSON-based outbound external interface transmissions.

Steps to Enable

To take advantage of this feature you will need to

  • Configure your Out JSON Profile this page is found by navigating to Business Process Automation > Power Data > Integration > Out JSON Profiles.
  • Assign the configured Out JSON Profile(s) to the desired External System.
