Screen Sets - Display UOM As Entered

This feature provides the ability for you to configure your UOM fields in your screen sets, for Finder Results usage, to display the configured UOM fields in the UOM value that they were entered with. 

In the example below, the User Preference for Weight has been set to TONs - as shown below.

The Finder Results for a shipment query returns the Gross Weight field as shown below - where the Weight UOM field is displayed using the User Preference - TON.

To take advantage of the new As Entered capabilities/configuration option, the Weight for the Screen Set above is configured to display the Weight value As Entered - this is done by selecting the As Entered check box as shown below.

With the Screen Set configured as shown above, the Finder Results now display the Weight UOM values in the As Entered UOM of LB - as shown below.

This feature allows you to display the units of measure in the unit of measure used for entering the value.  The as ented option allows you to have the field values displayed in a UOM that is different from your configured UOM user preference.

Steps to Enable

To configure your UOM fields to display As Entered  - you will need to navigate to Configuration and Administration > User Configuration > Screen Set Manager. Create or edit a record and go to the Results tab. Click the More button on a row UOM row you want to configure.  Following the navigation path will bring up the field shown below.

Tips And Considerations

The As Entered option is not compatible with the Total option on the screen set, meaning this is an either or option - either you opt to provide Totals or you select As Entered, but both can not coexist.
