Optimize Column Field Lengths

We have enhanced the system to standardize field lengths between Oracle Warehouse Management Cloud (WMS) and Fusion Inventory.

To maintain consistent field lengths, we have updated the field lengths for Customer Name, Customer Address, Ship To Name, Ship To Address, Phone Number, and Custom Fields in the specified UI screens. Also, the new field lengths are updated for the corresponding input interfaces and stage tables.

NOTE:

  • The Phone Number field is expanded to support various international phone number formats, allowing up to 40 characters to accommodate country codes, area codes, and extensions.
  • Some Inventory History Transactions, such as 12 - Order Detail Shorted, 26 - Order Allocation - Cross Dock, and 27 - Order Cancellation, record the Destination Facility/Customer Address in the Ref value 1 field. So, we have updated the Ref value 1 field length to 400.
  • All these updated field lengths are supported for the corresponding input interfaces and stage tables.
