Enhance Print Label Prompt When Releasing a Task

We have enhanced the Tasks (TaskView) UI with improved control over “Print Label” prompt when releasing tasks. Now, the system triggers the “Print Label” prompt only for specific task types that require it, such as Picking and Packing tasks.

For task types that don’t require labels, such as CC, Putaway, and Replenishment, we have disabled the print label prompt, even if the screen parameter “print-label” is set to “Yes”. This enhancement ensures that print label prompt is triggered only for relevant task types, avoiding extra steps.

To support this, we have updated the screen parameter “print-label” behavior on the TaskView module. With this enhancement, on enabling the screen parameter, the system doesn’t prompt for print label for the following task types when releasing tasks:

  • CC-LOCN-BY-ITEM
  • CC-LOCATION
  • CC-LOCN-LPN-CNT
  • CC-LOCATION-DTL
  • PUTAWAY_CART
  • REPLEN-LPN
  • REPLEN-CASES
  • CONSOL_REPLEN
  • IBVAS

NOTE:

  • When the screen parameter “print-label” is set to “Yes”, the print label prompt continues to pop-up for the picking/packing task types that need labels.
  • If you select multiple tasks to release and only a few task types that require labels, the system displays a warning message. On accepting the message, the system triggers the print label prompt for the eligible task types.
  • When the screen parameter “print-label” is set to “No” or Blank, the system doesn’t prompt for print label, regardless of task type.
