Enhancement to Inbound Shipment UI to Support Default Lock Code

You can now apply a default lock code to the received LPNs while receiving using the “Receive Entire Shipment” action button on the IB Shipment UI or “Receive LPN” action button on the IB Shipment Detail screen. This enables you to automatically apply a lock code to received LPNs, similar to receiving mobile transactions, eliminating the need for manual entry. By doing so, you can apply a pending putaway lock code (enabled with the flag “Unlock on Locate to Reserve”) to received LPNs through the IB Shipment UI. This is especially useful for Inventory Receipt Confirmation integration.

To implement this enhancement, we have added the following new screen parameter to the IBShipmentView module:

Screen Parameter Parameter Type Screen Parameter Value/Parameter Choice Behavior
default-lockcode Text Blank Default behavior: After receiving using the “Receive Entire Shipment” action button on the IB Shipment UI or “Receive LPN” action button on the IB Shipment Detail screen, the system doesn’t apply any default lock code on the received LPNs.
Valid lock code

When you receive using the “Receive Entire Shipment” action button on the IB Shipment UI or “Receive LPN” action button on the IB Shipment Detail screen, the system applies the configured default lock code to the received LPNs.

If the selected shipment detail is configured with an “LPN Lock Code”, the system applies both lock codes to the received LPNs, subject to the lock code priority configuration.

Steps to Enable

To apply a default lock when you receive a shipment using the “Receive Entire Shipment” action button on the IB Shipment UI or “Receive LPN” action button on the IB Shipment Detail screen, set the “default-lockcode” screen parameter with a valid lock code.
