Enhance Pick and Allocate Transaction to Transfer Inventory Lock Codes to OBLPN

You can now initiate Returns To Vendor (RTV) for defective or damaged inventories that are stored at a location. This feature allows you to return inventories by picking loose inventory or perform partial pick from Reserve location.

FOR ACTIVE LOCATIONS

After scanning inventory (where the order type is configured with a lock code) from an active location during pick and allocate, the system restricts the pick. We've introduced a new warning message “Order type has lock code. allocating from active location may fail.” You can accept the message and proceed with picking. By default, this message and the auto reject is enabled.
For example, If you ship multiple defective or damaged items to a single vendor, this thus improving Return to Vendor (RTV) process flexibility.

NOTE: In case the message is set to a hard error, you may not be able to accept the message and proceed with picking.

If the Lock code is applied to inventory being picked during the Pick and allocate mobile transaction, the system transfers the associated lock code to the corresponding OBLPN.

For example, let's say your inventory has 3 units (un-allocatable) with lock code (AWC34.) When you pick inventory for an ORDER, the scanned OBLPN will have the lock code (AWC34) transfer from Picked inventory.  After Pick and Allocate completes, the system writes IHT - 65 - Lock OBLPN with the lock codes and corresponding ERP bucket. Also, the generated SLS file from the shipped load contains the corresponding inventory lock code.

RESERVE LOCATION

When Lock Code is applied to an inventory being picked to an OBLPN during the pick & allocate mobile transaction, the system should transfer the associated lock code to the corresponding OBLPN.

For example, let's say your inventory has 5 units (un-allocatable) with lock code (KHRTV ). When you pick inventory for an ORDER01, the scanned OBLPN01 will have the lock code (KHRTV) transferred from the picked inventory.
