Identify the Privileged Zone Statuses for Foreign Trade Zones

This feature allows you to define a list of zone statuses to identify goods with privileged foreign status. By specifying which zone statuses correspond to privileged foreign goods, you help ensure that such goods are managed correctly within a foreign trade zone and are reported accurately for customs purposes. The GTM property, gtm.tip.privilegedZoneStatuses, is used to list the privileged zone statuses. The value for this property is a comma-separated list of the relevant zone statuses.

Business Benefit: Defining a list of privileged foreign status zone statuses ensures that goods with privileged foreign status are consistently and accurately identified, managed, and reported across your processes. This minimizes compliance risks, streamlines operations within foreign trade zones, and helps meet customs and regulatory requirements — reducing the chance of penalties or processing delays, and improving overall supply chain efficiency.

Steps to Enable and Configure

  • Navigate to Master Data > Power Data > Trade Incentive Programs > Trade Incentive Program > Zone Statuses and add your zone statuses.
  • Add the zone statuses you are using to identify Privileged Foreign Status to the gtm.tip.privilegedZoneStatuses property.
