Delete Linked Custom Object Records upon Contact Deletion

Previously in Controlled Availability, the ability to delete linked custom object records upon contact deletion feature will be generally available with the release of 25A.

• Custom objects will now include a checkbox to delete the linked custom objects when a contact is deleted
• Existing custom objects will have the checkbox off by default

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

Reminder: best practices should be followed for deleting contacts. When deleting large amounts of contacts, delete in batches, and if possible, during non-peak hours for your Eloqua environment.
