iOS Device Token Validation at Mobile App Registration

When enabled, this feature validates whether a device token is valid or not. Invalid device tokens are marked as “Undeliverable” with a specific channel deliverability reason returned from APNS. This applies to existing devices as well as new incoming devices. The validation check happens as part of the device registration call i.e. whenever a user opens the app and the device registration flows into Oracle.

Please note that Responsys also has controls in place to limit the number of device registrations within a period of time. Responsys considers device registrations only when a device data has changed (like OS version, manufacturer, SDK version, App version etc.) OR the time since the last registration exceeds 12 hours or more.
