Lead Scoring Activity Data Alignment

Lead scoring models in Eloqua are now configured to use only those activities that have been moved into the contact activity table when evaluating and assigning scores to contacts. Previously, lead scores might have been influenced by activities that were later removed due to bot detection or other automated system processes. This could result in scores that did not accurately reflect the true engagement or intention of a contact.

  • This change will avoid scenarios where a contact will be scored for an activity and the activity later is removed by our bot detection service or other system action, allowing for more accuracy in the lead scores
  • This change aligns with segmentation and the APIs which only return data for actions that has been moved to the activity table.
