Form Expiration Handling

Forms now include expiration settings as part of the form design workflow. Clients can set a default expiration, choose a custom expiration date and time, or configure a form to never expire. The default behavior sets expiry to three months from the publish date, while custom expiration can be set up to two years from the current date.

This enhancement gives clients more control over how long a form remains active and helps ensure that form endpoints stop collecting data when they are no longer needed.

Business Benefits:

  • Prevents form endpoints from collecting data beyond the intended timeframe.
  • Supports evergreen forms for long-term or compliance-driven data collection.
  • Improves governance and reduces operational risk from outdated forms.
