Confidential Attachments Supported in Web Reply Form

When agency staff creates an ad hoc communication and web form to send to a registered public user, that user can now optionally set the attachment to confidential. It will be displayed on the Attachments tab, where agency staff can change to or from confidential if they have permission.

Businesses can now feel confident that attachments sent by email will be secured for only the staff that require access.

Steps to Enable

You must turn on the Enable Confidential Attachments switch in the Agency Features tab.

To enable:

  1. Navigate to Common Setup > Agency.
  2. Select your agency row.
  3. Click the Features tab.
  4. In the Business License row, click on the Options link.
  5. Enable the "Enable Confidential Attachments" switch.
  6. Click Save.

Tips And Considerations

Now all attachments sent in response to a web form can be set to confidential. Staff may change setting for individual document if staff not privileged for confidential attachments needs access.

If an attached document in a webform response is marked as Confidential, its accessibility is controlled by the visibility set in the ad hoc communication through which the webform is sent. If any changes are made in application contacts (under the Contacts tab), they will take effect immediately in the webform response attachment access.
