Separate Use of DMN Models for Renewable Permits

Agency staff can leverage separate DMN models for origination and renewal of renewable permits.

From the Fee Schedule page, select an appropriate fee model and then select Renewal for the Applies to Type. When the Permit Renewal is initiated, this fee model is used to generate fees.

This allows an agency to use a separate fee model to calculate fees differently on the origination than on the renewal.

Steps to Enable

To enable this feature: 

1. Navigate to Set up and Maintenance > Fees and Payments > Manage Fee Schedules. 
2. Select the Fee Schedule. 
3. Select the appropriate Fee Item. 
4. For "Applies to Type" select the Renewal checkbox.

Once the permit renewal is initiated, this fee model will be used to generate fees.
