Active Filter for Public User Inspections List

A new filter improves performance when loading the inspections list for an applicant or contact with application access. The Active filter is on by default to show only inspections for applications that are in an active status for permits or business licenses.

This example illustrates the Active filter on an applicant's Inspections page.

When the Active switch is turned on, the filter shows only those inspections on an application that is in an active status, as identified here:

Active Permits, where the status is one of the following:

  • About to Expire
  • Application Accepted
  • Delinquent
  • Expired
  • Inspection
  • In Process
  • Plan Review
  • Permit Issued
  • Submitted

Active Business License transactions, where the status is one of the following:

  • Application Accepted
  • Completed (only if any associated inspections were created or updated within the last 30 days)

NOTE: Unannounced inspections can be created by agency staff on a completed business license.

  • In Process
  • Inspection
  • License Issued
  • Submitted

This feature allows for better performance and more efficient and optional viewing of the inspection information.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

When applicants and contacts with permit or business license application access click the Inspections tile on their landing page after logging in, they see a modified version of the agency's Inspections console page. From the public user's inspections list, they can access inspection details and schedule additional inspections for the permits and business licenses they are associated with.
