Redwood Experience for Plan Review
Plan reviews are tracked in Oracle Permitting and Licensing as part of permit and planning applications, now also displayed using the Redwood Experience. Agency setup determines whether a plan review is required for a permit or planning application type. Any review cycle for a permit or planning application can be conducted with or without an integration to Bluebeam Studio™, a third-party electronic document review tool.
This example illustrates the Plan Reviews page for a permit displayed in the Redwood Experience, including the available actions for the cycle.

Agency staff with permissions can add reviewers, associate documents with the cycle, add comments, and record time.
Reviewers can add their decision and reviewer comments on the Plan review decision details drawer in the Redwood Experience. Agency staff with permissions can override reviewer decisions.

The new enhanced user experience streamlines the look and feel of the Plan Review pages.
Steps to Enable
You must have the Redwood Experience for Permit Application Details and/or Redwood Experience for Planning Application Details enabled in Functional Set Up Manager to use the Redwood Experience for Plan Review.
To enable the Redwood Experience for Permit Application Details:
- Navigate to Setup and Maintenance > Setup: Public Sector Permits > Change Feature Opt In.
- Select the "pencil" icon in the Features column for Public Sector Permits.
- Under "Redwood Experience for Application Intake, Payment, and Application List", select the "Enable" checkbox for Redwood Experience for Permit Details.
- Click Done.

Tips And Considerations
The new Bluebeam Studio API needs to be enabled in FSM for electronic plan review to be displayed using the Redwood Experience. The Bluebeam Studio API was delivered in Oracle Permitting and Licensing 25B.
