Sell and Manage Preventive Maintenance Plans for Subscriptions

By associating a maintenance program template to the coverage product, create a maintenance program for the covered levels. This maintenance program will be, subsequently, converted to one or more work orders and service requests in the downstream applications to support the preventive maintenance for the covered levels.

Because of the coverage template association, you can see the preventive maintenance program in the Edit Product screen.

Preventive Maintenance Program

You can modify the program by editing the standard coverage or switching to a different standard coverage.

Once Subscription is made active, you must run the following three scheduled processes to interface the preventive maintenance program details to the maintenance management.

• Send Maintenance Program and Covered Assets to Oracle Maintenance
• Import Maintenance Programs
• Retrieve Instantiated Maintenance Program

You can see the instantiated preventive maintenance program after the three programs are run.

This instantiated maintenance program will be further processed in downstream applications to support the expected preventive maintenance.

You can extend support of preventive maintenance for subscriptions covered levels.
