Return Partial Quantity of Covered Assets

You can now terminate specific serialized covered assets by creating Return Material Authorization i.e.RMA from Fusion Order Management. Using a standard process of using sales order as a reference for the RMA, you can receive the item into inventory and terminate the specific covered levels by processing the return of the asset from the Reprocess Installed Base Updates UI.

1. You can now return specific covered serialized assets without terminating the subscription.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

1. Only serialized covered assets can be processed for partial returns.
2. Partial return of only coverage is not supported.
3. Partial return of non-serialized assets is not supported.
4. The Manage Subscriptions Using Order Management Transactions ESS will be marked as Skipped when serialized covered assets are returned . The covered level for the returned assets is closed by the Process Customer Asset Updates ESS.
